Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect during my first therapy session?
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and how I can best support you. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure conversation — you don’t have to have everything figured out.
How long are sessions, and how often will we meet?
Most sessions are 50 minutes long and are typically held once per week, but we can adjust the frequency based on your needs and schedule.
What kinds of issues do you specialize in?
I specialize in helping clients work through trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, and relationship challenges. I also provide support for survivors of narcissistic or sexual abuse and offer couples therapy.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, depending on what you’re most comfortable with.
What is trauma-informed therapy?
Trauma-informed therapy recognizes how past experiences can shape the way you think, feel, and respond to stress. It focuses on safety, empowerment, and choice — meeting you where you are without judgment.
